Sub-position of contract transactions

The Hotcoin perpetual contract has launched the split position mode. The existing mode defaults to the combined position mode, and the split position mode can be switched when there is no position or order. By default, one-way positions only have the closed position mode.

Closing mode

Applicable to USDT closing position and currency standard closing position

The combined position mode refers to the combination of all long positions of the same currency that the user opened, and the combination of all short positions

Cross position closing: orders placed in the same direction (open long or open short) and the same trading pair will be combined into one position. Under the combined position mode, the same trading pair has at most two positions: long position and short position. Leverage can only be adjusted uniformly in the order area. All positions share margin.

Isolated position closing: Orders placed in one direction (open long or open short) and the same trading pair will be combined into one position. Under the combined position mode, the same trading pair has at most two positions: long position and short position. Leverage can only be adjusted uniformly. All position margins are independent of each other.

Warehouse mode

Applicable to USDT sub-warehouse and currency-based sub-warehouse

The split position mode means that when the user opens positions of the same currency and the same direction, they will not be merged, and each position opened independently exists

Cross-position split: multiple positions can be opened in the same direction (open long or short) and under the same trading pair, and leverage can be set separately for each position. In split position mode, new orders will not be merged with existing positions. All positions share margin.

Separate positions: use one direction (open long or open short) and open multiple positions under the same trading pair. In the split position mode, new orders will not be merged with existing positions, and all position margins and liquidation prices are independent when isolated positions

The combination mode and split mode of the perpetual contract position can only be selected when the position is opened, and the positions after opening cannot be converted between the two modes.

Note: The maximum position for each account is 100. If it exceeds, the order will fail.

Traders can use sub-positions to carry orders, and merchandisers can also use sub-positions to carry orders.
