Risk Reminder on Preventing Phishing and Fraud

Dear users,
Recently, we have received multiple feedbacks from users that some criminals and fraudsters are claiming themselves as staffs of Hotcoin to commit fraud. These scams and frauds are conducted as follow methods:
1. Impersonating as official staffs to contact users：Impersonating Hotcoin customer service or making phone calls to users by claiming themselves as Hotcoin official staffs and follow users on Wechat APP,inviting users to join in the Wechat chatting groups pretending to be the official one.
2.Commanding users to follow them on Wechat APP or other social media account,asking for the personal Email,sending users with links/QR code, asking users to click on the links and fill out the account information, login the corresponding account and bank account, so that they can obtain your assets by guiding you completed the operations mentioned above.
3.Inviting users to conduct the remote sharing operation with the “customer service” impersonating the Hotcoin official staff, and “guiding” you with serial operations on your own account.In addition,they will ask you for SMS verification code,Google verification code or access permission to login from a different location, so that they can steal your account information.
4.Offering users with fake website or fake URL,and guiding you to withdraw assets to the so called“safety account ”or transfer assets to the designated account to complete “account frozen”/“asset transfer”so that they can steal assets from your account.
5. Sending SMS,Emails or making phone calls claiming to come from official; Commanding users to conduct account unfreezing operations according to their guidance since the account is involved in dirty money,in a status of high risk or frozen; Requiring you to withdraw tokens and assets to so called“safety account”and process “assets transfer”in the name of retiring users and not providing services anymore.

6.People who claim themselves as the staffs from public security organs, and guide you to download E-wallet for withdrawals.
