Common issues include:
The ID card indicates that the individual is under 18 years old.
The ID card is blurry.
The ID card is obstructed or incomplete.
The ID card has expired.
The ID type is invalid. Personal identity verification can only be completed using a driver’s license, passport, national ID card, or permanent residence permit.
The face is obstructed or not visible during the facial recognition process. Please do not wear hats, glasses, or use filters. Ensure proper lighting.
1.How long does identity verification take?
The KYC process typically takes 3–5 minutes. However, in some cases, the review process may take 1–3 business days, depending on the platform’s security requirements, your local compliance policies, certain product features, or network conditions.
2.Is the KYC information I provide and store on Hotcoin secure? Will my personal data be leaked?
The information you provide to Hotcoin is securely encrypted. We adhere to strict privacy policies and will never disclose your personal data.
3.Why do I receive an error message stating, “This ID number has already been verified multiple times in Identify Verification” after uploading my personal information?
Each person can only verify one Hotcoin account. If you have previously completed KYC verification with another KuCoin account, you will not be able to verify a new account. Therefore, please continue using your previous account. If the previously verified account has been deleted, please contact our support team for assistance.
